Royole FlexPai

Royole FlexPai is the first foldable smartphone unveiled at CES 2019. According to the company, Flexpai = Smartphone + Tablet. Which means, that you can use the phone as a smartphone, as well as a tablet. Royole wanted to be the first in revealing the new technology, that’s why FlexPai appeared in CES 2019.

Lets discuss in detail about the Royole FlexPai Foldable smartphone.

Royole FlexPai Details

The Royole FlexPai has an OLED display of 1920 x 1440 pixels dimensions. But, after folding, the display separates into pixels less than its half. So, it is not a crisp display. But, it’s just the beginning of the foldable smartphones so displays will get better with time. The screen has a 308PPI density, which is still good if you consider just the foldable smartphones.

There might be 8 GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Series Processor, and 16 + 20 MP camera with F/1.8 aperture which is quite good.

There are not many details available about this phone, right now. Just a sample was shown at CES 2019. More details will be coming after the company releases the phone.

Final Verdict

As far as foldables (foldable smartphones) are considered, they cannot be used in day-to-day life for the working class people. But, foldable phones look great and are pretty handy as well.

Foldable phones could be the choice of the people sitting in an Office or Retired Ones. But, for people who travel daily, go to their work with the crowd, these devices might not be a good choice, as it may get damaged in the rush.
